Are single row cylindrical roller bearings and have two fixed ribs on the outer ring and one smooth inner ring. This design allows an axial displacement in certain limits, of the shaft in relation to the housing. Therefore, NJ Series rolling bearings are used in non-locating bearing units. Also, the NJ Series bearings have no virtually thrust capacity.
The design has a cylindrical inner ring and two ribs on the outer ring, making type NJ bearings well suited for use as floating bearings.

Even if it has to bear a heavy load, its deformation is small. It mostly used for machine tool spindle bearing.
FC, FCD, FDCP-type four-row cylindrical roller bearings can bear greater radial load, mostly using for rolling mill and other heavy machinery.
